Apostille services

The Apostille is a type of document legalisation required in countries that are signatories to the Hague Convention of 1961. This stamp, which includes 10 fields, verifies the authenticity of the official document to prevent the use of forgeries. Depending on the type of document, there are three different institutions responsible for applying the Apostille. It is issued for various documents such as civil status records, criminal record certificates, educational documents, divorce decrees, powers of attorney, and more. Certain educational and medical documents must also be endorsed by other Romanian state authorities before the Apostille can be applied. Apostilles are not issued for identity cards and passports.

With an extensive experience dating back to 1999 (when Apostilles were issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bucharest), Euroact Translation Office ensures high-quality services for its clients.
